Default Going to be new to game.. :)

Hi I am Lady Navada a faithful member of FFXI. I was told of this game by a member of my Linkshell and have been interested for about a week.
They don't have it in stores where I am as yet. What are views on buyin it used like from Ebay? I would also like to know how is the game play say verses FFXI or EQ they are both very similar in game play. I love the online gaming and interaction with other players around the world. I hope to see you all soon in game.

Are you anywhere near (or can get to) a city of at least 25,000 people? Your local Best Buy or EB should have it by now.

This game is NOTHING like those games. Those game are the definition of tedious and boring... given enough time. The concept is great, the PvP in non-ganker, and everything has been re-written to make PLAYING fun, and not to have to grind in any way to get anywhere.

Or any of the other reviews out there.

Oh... and as a bonus... THERE IS NO MONTHLY FEE.

Navada -

Do not buy a copy on eBay, too many things can go wrong. (Such as someone using the CD-key but selling the box to you, etc.)

Buy the game online, directly from NCSoft. You'll have to download all the data, but it doesn't take that long, and it's cheaper anyways.

Alternatively, find an online retailer (you know, EBGames, Gamestop...) and buy from them.

P.S. Welcome back from FFXI. I used to play too until I realized that it was eating my soul.

last week my local BestBuy ran out of standard edition, CircuitCity has it on sale for $39.99 but it has only one copy, I went to CompUSA and had them pricematched CC price. CompUSA has the collector's edition for $59.99.
